Learning through AZ DJ Academy has been an awesome experience. The attention to detail and the years of experience and knowledge that is taught in the 1 on 1 sessions is invaluable. The knowledge of all things DJing; the craft, business side, gear, etc., anything you want to know, you can learn here and then some.

If you're trying to start or improve on DJ-ing, AZ DJ Academy should be your only choice. MJ is an insanely good DJ and awesome instructor. He really takes the time to refine your skills and tell you hard stuff that some of us need to hear. MJ also works with you to your desired goal, whether its your backyard or playing at a club! Wouldnt pick anyone else to continue working on my DJing!!!

If you want to to take your DJ or music production skills to the next level, I highly recommend this academy. The AZ DJ Academy curriculum is complete, and covers all areas you need to be a better musician such as Production skills, Ear Training, Mixing/Mastering, Recording, Music Theory, and music business. My knowledge of music theory, production, DJ'ing and business has transformed thanks to MJ. There is no better place to build connections and accelerate the learning process as well as being connected with like minded producers and DJ's in this academy. Without a coach/mentor you're only practicing your mistakes and I am happy to say that the 1 on 1 sessions in this academy changed that. I recommend this to anyone who wants to step out of their comfort zone and grow as a music producer/DJ.

I started with knowing nothing about DJ and basics of music. MJ was patient enough to go over the basics and in 4 sessions I am able to mix house music .. like the basic mixes. The first thing MJ taught me was to beat match with ears. Not looking at the screen . This is a skill that will be developed over a period of time with lots of practice and am glad I chose azdjacademy and MJ to teach me this skill.
